Our Centre is open for inspection at any time by these organizations: the Ministry of Education, the Public Health Department, and the Fire Department.

Hiring policy
All staff are hired in compliance with:

Medical Clearance by a physician

Criminal Reference Check by Metropolitan Police and Law Enforcement of other Regions (sometimes involving INTERPOL and finger printing)
STAFF QUALIFICATIONS
All staff members are qualified Early Childhood Education (R.E.C.E) teachers registered with the R.E.C.E College; and trained assistant childcare workers or equivalent. First Aid, Epi-Pen, and safe food handling training are also mandatory for all staff.
DIRECTORS QUALIFICATIONS
Ms. Margot Hermelijn – Director
Primary specialist, Elementary school and Child care Educator, Special Needs teacher, R.E.C.E eq., Head teacher, trained advanced Infancy specialist, principal home visitor of licensed home child care agencies and responsible for all other affiliated operations of the Hermelijn family.
Jonathan Hermelijn – President
R.E.C.E, Business Administration, Centre Supervisor, and Director of Licensed Home Child Care Agencies.

THE CENTRE’S FACILITY
The Centre is a four story old world mansion with an interesting history. Previously a doctors building and then converted to an Ambassadors residence, the building was purchased in 2008 for the purpose of opening a private child care centre in the prestigious Birch Cliff area. After four years of construction the building was converted to comply with the Bi-laws and zoning requirements.
Our facility includes large, bright, and sunny playrooms, supplied with multiple use equipment and materials that aim at developing skills through natural activities. Full renovation of the building also included state of the art alarm system, new furnaces, four story fire escape stairs, two fully equipped chef’s kitchens, and new child friendly washroom facilities each with double toilets for the children’s ease of use. Inside the Centre, we include cots in a variety of sizes, and a large selection of toys for indoor and outdoor play.
The program is rich, the menus are great.
